Welcome! We're glad you're here.

Kitsap Bank and Heritage Bank are coming together to create a stronger banking network for customers across the Puget Sound region. This partnership brings the expanded services of a larger bank while preserving the personal, community-focused experience customers value. With aligned cultures and local decision-making, customers will enjoy enhanced capabilities, added convenience, and access to Heritage Bank's branches and ATMs throughout Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.
The transition to Heritage Bank accounts, products, and services is scheduled for September 19, 2026. Until the transition, you can continue using your accounts, checks, debit cards, online banking services, and branch locations just as you do today.
As we combine the best practices and resources from all our locations, we want to make sure you don't miss out on any important changes. Please ensure your account contact information is current so we can keep you updated every step of the way.

Key Points

Interbank Transactions: Until we convert to a single financial operating system in September 18, 2026, Kitsap Bank customers should continue to bank as usual. However, customers of both banks can conduct certain banking transactions at any branch location (Heritage Bank or Kitsap Bank), including:
  • Deposits
  • Loan payments
  • Withdrawals
  • Cash checks

ATM Use: Customers of both banks can use a Heritage Bank or Kitsap Bank ATM without incurring a fee. Kitsap Bank’s customers can also continue to use the Allpoint ATM network free of charge until September 18, 2026. You will have access to the MoneyPass® ATM network for withdrawals only beginning September 21. You can find the nearest MoneyPass® ATM on the Heritage Bank website or at www.moneypass.com.
FDIC Coverage: If you have deposits at both banks, your Kitsap Bank deposits are separately insured from deposits at Heritage Bank for at least six months after the merger. The merger is effective January 31, 2026. This grace period gives you the opportunity to restructure your accounts, if necessary.
