Key Points

Interbank Transactions: Until we convert to a single financial operating system in September, Kitsap Bank customers should continue to bank as usual. However, customers of both banks can conduct certain banking transactions at any branch location (Heritage Bank or Kitsap Bank), including:
  • Deposits
  • Loan payments
  • Withdrawals
  • Cash checks
ATM/ITM Use: Customers of both banks can use a Heritage Bank or Kitsap Bank ATM without incurring a fee. Kitsap Bank’s customers can also continue to use the Allpoint ATM network free of charge.
FDIC Coverage: If you have deposits at both banks, your Kitsap Bank deposits are separately insured from deposits at Heritage Bank for at least six months after the merger. The merger is effective January 30, 2026. This grace period gives you the opportunity to restructure your accounts, if necessary.
